how are you getting him to hop to the other foot? I can get benson to pick each foot up, but he switches slowly(I haven't added a verbal cue yet, it's just visual, maybe I should try verbal). And how to get the dog to follow you as you move back?
@jaymejamjar Well, I think that the most important thing I did not realize needed to be taught is the limp. I think that this is why Bandit is so quick to learn it. He knew how to limp. I have old videos on limping with both of my dogs, so you could check them out. Just go to my channel and search limping. Sorry! I was trying it with Isabelle and she was not getting it and Bandit made it look so simple. He makes me want another Border Collie! Sorry. Hope that limping helps. Pam
I've been meaning to ask you: What video editing program do you use? I've finally gotten a camcorder (no tripod yet!), but haven't a clue about the editing stuff...yet!
You've obviously gotten that down so thought I'd ask. Good choice of music, too, by the way. You're becoming as multitalented as your two pups!
Woohhoo! Way to GO! Jackson can already 'mirror' my foot movements. I say 'foot, other foot' and he lifts them up with mine in unison so I think we can build off that and teach skipping easy (so I think, right?) Thanks for the video- huge help!
PAM! that looks soo good! I also think you should train him to Skip on the spot like he is doing in the beginning of the video toOO!!!! :) YES!!!! Awesome!
omg thats so cute!! :D
