Blacks faced no discrimination in the North after the Civil War. In fact White women faced more discrimination in the North then Black men. White slaves and Black slaves were on 'equal terms'.

Do you know why you see an massive growth in European population? because they count immigrants with the european people, they have high birth rates, but they are not europeans.

2. Yes, the quote does contain very bigoted language, however, i don't think you can necessarily attribute apply a person's quote to everyone inspired by that person. For example I draw inspiration from Pierre-Joseph Proudhon but I don't necessarily agree with his sexist and racist quotes. An actual racist quote by Wright himself would help the argument.
3.BLT, while a load of crap, is not synonymous with Black Nationalism.

But guess what? Even if you had a problem with that, that was in a white america buddy. We weren't being oppressed by blacks or Mexicans, we were being oppressed by ourselves. It is extremely out of line to compare the fraction of whites that WE made servants to the ENTIRE RACE of blacks that we made slaves.

@Field4561 Don't act like we come from great hardship. The amount of slave whites was nothing compared to the amount (ALL) of black slaves. Out of the few whites who were slaves, they also were allowed to learn, read, socialize, and in some cases their slavery could even be paid off or for some would simply expire after a set amount of time. And when they were freed they did not face discrimination and had equal rights as others. Your failing to realize the huge differences that existed.

And of course White were under great hardship. Most of them were in poverty -- they were former slaves, having been put under slavery when they couldn't pay their debts. The working class Whites were responsible for the building of the former great American industry. They worked very dangerous jobs in manufacturing or mining. The rich screwed them over with very low wages. Mortality was high. Doctors were bad, if you got sick they might give you mercury to make you better.

Guess what though? That was during the industrial revolution man! That was after slavery was illegal, yet still during the time where blacks were segregated, and those specific problems I mentioned affected everyone. However there were many problems that only affected non-whites.

@Field4561 Technically, you know since whites were the slave owners who owned the slaves, the law enforcement who enforced it, and the politicians who made it possible, it is all a white persons' fault.
Do not twist my words and assume I expect every white person to accept responsibility, for they did not do it.
HOWEVER, every person that you could blame for such things was a white man. That doesn't put the "average white" as you put it, at fault, but it is some white men's fault. Thats Fact.
