One thing that I missed after the first two albums was the lack of DeFarfalla's jazzy bass sound. It was pretty wicked. You can hear it all over this song. They kind of "chilled out" the bass in every album afterwards and it doesn't stand out as much.

@Adhizable Orchid is my favorite album... it's so amazing. It's one of my favorite albums ever. My Arms, Your Hearse is probably my 2nd favorite by them, then Morningrise, and moving onwards. They're all good, but honestly I haven't really listened to Opeth much since Ghost Reveries came out. I have bought all of their albums, I just can't get into the newer stuff anymore :(

Metal is the just the kind of music that creates more emotion in me and especially prog metal. If you wanna know I also listen to jazz (pastorius, wheather report, metheny,wooten, robert glasper...) , classical music( chopin, liszt, brahms, schubert...) and any other thing that sounds good to my ear I guess. Music is a matter of taste... you have yours, I have mine ;)

During the very quick breaks in the music at around 8:00 and 8:03 I realized how quiet the crowd is.....it's amazing how some parts of Opeths music is so beautiful that it just overwhelms people into an amazed rapture/silence. Screw the drunk/high partying atmosphere you get at many metal shows, Opeths music is serious bidness....and I wouldn't have it any other way.
