in all my days of listening to punk bands and especially the bigger names(not mtv big names) i have never seen a band use Peavy 5150 or Peavy period, it's usually Marshall,Mesa Boogie,Laney,Carvin, or something like that. I always pay attention to equipment so I just found that kind of wierd because most of the 5150 users are metal heads or Van Halen type bands.

@ketahoer23 , yeah i tried a few the other day and they are all thin sounding and real noisey if you know what i mean. they had this little combo like the LINE 6 with different amp sounds but they all sounded the same, horrible

vox ac30 + strat or tele + crybaby is what you need

@ketahoer23 , cool i'll check that out. I am a drummer but I will be getting some guitar equipment in the future so my son and I can rock out, a bass is next on my list of gear to buy. Strat is my guitar of choice(had one a few years back,japanese that played like an American) because it sits real nice on my hips and palm mutes are easy plus the sound is nice and smooth especially with some Lace Sensor Pick up's
