the "little lonely piece" is used to keep the inner middle layer in alignment like the pi mod on a 6x6

erm for the other 4 thin centers, if u wanna set the tension on them, do u need to disassemble the whole cube to set it?

I suppose. It's all about how creative you want to be with it. A lot of things will have to be altered to make it possible, but that's where we learn to do things, experimenting.

Time will tell. I probably can't do thing kind of Mod as of now since my money will be going into the Meffert's Megaminx and something else. But I'll try it one day.

How long does the shipping usually take? I got the 1-3 Day, and last night I got an email saying it proccessed, that I should expect it to ship in 3 days, is it usually more than 3 days or less?

umm should ship in like 2-3 weeks. it has to go through customs and then ship from shanghai china to where you live :-P

I don't know I used UPS Quantum, It Left about 2 hours after I ordered it and i Got my confirmation of it leaving Shanghai about 1 hour later, the funny thing is there was also a mistake in the shipping so it probably would've been here in 2 days, you see it accidentally skipped customs or something so it had to go back to Anchorage alaska twice.

Heh, maybe it was just a fluke but I'm going to use UPS Quantum for the rest of my orders.
