@slaughtermii I'm not sure these days. I got my copy from Play Asia, but they are out of stock now...... I'm guessing Ebay is your best bet now. :(

It is: Second Option in the main menu, then first option to start a new game, then choose your fighter (duh ;) ) then from top to bottom: difficulty (normal is standart,left is easy right is hard) rounds vs card (opponents in ascending difficulty or just random?) stage the default story mode is on easy normal or, godforbid, even hard will leave your fingers bleeding and your face enraged... but its still pretty good ;)

Just yesterday I started playing this in vs mode agains a friend. other than the characters being a bit imbalanced (sendou and ippo are off the freaking scale.... next in line is date and then mashiba, myata and the like and then somewhere deep deep down boils the rest) its really fun and a great challenging game.

Also, as you can power upyour own characters you can balance the game out on your own which is great.

I started watching the anime specifically because of this video, and I finished it a few months ago, as well as watched the feature length movie and the sequel mini-series "New Challenger".

I also beat this game, and, to be honest, it didn't seem quite as hard as you made it out to be since I only lost a couple, matches through the entire game.

Still, very solid review, as always.

Buddy... try tournament mode on a higher difficulty than easy.

Perhaps I should try that... Provided I can navigate through the menus without knowing how to read any Japanese. GameFAQS translation guide to the rescue.

i own this game. while i am not familiar with the anime, this is a better game than punchout, as it goes way beyond pattern recognition, which is my least favorite aspect of punchout games.

Hi man, I always look forward to your reviews but you do not update very often.

The game looks pretty good though. However I'm not really into sports so I'm not sure how much I'd be into it.

I make a video like every 2 weeks plus the audio podcast once a month. I don't think I could really make them any faster than that. I wish I could. :)

Yeah I do it with Derek (aka The Happy Video Game Nerd) it's on RetrowareTV and as of now it's up to Episode #4. Working on Episode #5 right now. :)

Yeah Norm is on most of the episodes but the Ben and Derek show is mostly Derek and myself with some smaller appearances from the other people on RetrowareTV mixed in for fun.

For the people who want to play the game in English and own a flashcart or emulator; there is a patch on gbatemp. You need an ISP patcher to apply the patch and I don't think all of the text is in English, but most times the majority is.

a friend of mine has gotten me in to the anime and I have to say its great. Im not a fan of boxing and in real life I dont think I would watch it, but I like the anime since its a story about people getting better and training, its a very good story so far (still on the first series). This game does look like a lot of fun, Ive never played a punch out game (I know, and I call my self a nintendo gan) but I think I might have to check this one out. Great review.
