i dont really understand. my 1998 honda civic aerodeck 1.4is @90hp made 205km/h @ about 6300rpm

THIS car can´t be stock.

many videos show "stock" civics, that make 100km/h in the second gear. mine makes about 90. not more. I really don´t understand why there´s such a different between the SAME cars....

@civicaerodeck14 thats because some cars have different engines, horsepower and redline. a stock d16 VTEC with 7300RPM WOT could do 100 kmh but a d14 may only have up to 6800 RPM at WOT. so that could be the hang of the problem. thats just normal especially for a company that makes same ratios for SOHC cars.

@palencia23 with some mods it can! get the shortest air intake, lower the car, get a bigger manifold and big back exhaust box, put a few holes in the back bumper and you'll get around 130mph

i got my 1.4l over 135mph (took ages as fifth gear is sooooo long).only mod iv done is completely strip the interior bare, only 1 seat and the top half of the dash remain, its even still on 13 inch steelies lol

boyz 1.4i prob with induction kit had one before the ones from japan are de limited and with ecu chip induction and good exhaust lik scorpion or skunk2 will do 250kph it goes off the clock takes alot longer than a k20 powered ek9 civic

This is not a 1.4, it is a 1.5 Vtec, the transmision is longer, you can see that he can do 21o in 4th gear, no 1.4 cant do thet. I Know, i owned a 1.5 and 1.4
