Colin Firth has said that the story is: Bridget and Mark can't have kids, as Mark is firing blanks. Bridget goes back to Daniel just long enough to get pregnant and then he dumps her and Mark comes in to rescue her.

Rene has refused to put on weight for the new Bridget Jones 3 film. So, as I'm plump enough I'd willingly take over from her. All those love scenes with Colin Firth would be payment enough. They say there will come third movie ( it was in the Dutch papers) but the dates given in this film aren't right cause they are going to film it now and not in 2010...thanks for informing me that the film is going to be based on her columns though ;)

Although there were two books, she did continue writing her column (about Bridget Jones), which was about the whole want-to-get-pregnant thing. So yes, Bridget Jones 3 will be based on Helen Fielding's column. Though the new film wil be shot in 2011, not 2010. I just can''t wait for it to be in cinemas! Mr Mark Darcy!

Well, I believe it is nearly impossible to release a third movie. Renee Zellweger gained weight for the first and the second film 9-10 years ago and she may refuse to do it again. Moreover, Colin Firth was 41 and 44 in the first and second film. He looks much older right now, he is 51 years old. The actors are great, but there are some technical difficulties that have to be overcome. However, I would love to watch a new BJ film. I love this series!

I read this on the news and aparently bridget falls pregnant but theres one condition she doesn't know who the baby's father is and in the end it turns out to be daniel's so she moves in with daniel and has a baby boy but mark really wants to adopt the child even tho its daniel's and daniel is being a father to him.

I don't think it's going to happen, Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant have all said that they haven't heard anything about it, you can search it on the internet and youtube, Hugh said that he's only heard about it from journalists so it's just a rumour, he also said in an interview at some point that him, Renee and Colin don't want to do a third one because the second one was badly written or something

Okay- somebody can't count. The second movie was released in 2004 when she was 35, and this one will be released in 2011 when she's 42/3. And it won't matter because she still looks quite young and they have people called make-up artists. And I have to say she certainly doesn't deserve a baby if she can't make her mind up about the men in her life. And they should definitely include the wedding.

I hope it does not stick to Fielding's writings. I do not want her to hurt Mark by sleeping with Daniel. Also, I do not want her not to know who's child it is. She would not sleep with Daniel, he left her stranded in Thailand for God's sake. Anyway, did she not marry Mark. They can deviate from her writings, I can't stand the fact that she still has feelings for anyone except Mark.
