It's too bad you don't care about the government-issued propaganda, paid for by your own tax dollars, half as much as the "propaganda" put out by some guy from Flint, Michigan.
Luckily, if you don't like his "propaganda" you can simply refrain from watching his films. But it's gonna be kind of hard to escape all the talking points and press releases put out by the Republican spin machine and echoed throughout the mainstream media on a daily basis.
A film that informs you about lions on the Serengeti, is a documentary. A film that chastises lions as evil and corrupt and killing poor Zebras and should be stopped...is a propaganda film A film that informs about how the healthcare system works, which does not attempt to persuade, is a documentary. A film that says that healthcare and insurance companies are evil and should be stopped, no matter the one-sided statistics that are included...is a propaganda.
Happy to educate you, dalpaugh. I don´t like Republican propaganda either, or any propaganda...but at least they don´t push it off as being a documentary...
Politics aside, anyone who disagrees that Michael Moore´s films belong in the ´propaganda´ genre rather than the ´documentary´ genre...I would humbly explain is due to ignorance...of both film genres and reality.
Although my initial reaction was that Moore's apparent lack of editing connoted sincerity, I can't help but notice that Moore is not approving videos from Youtubers who disagree with his position. One unapproved video response I stumbled upon, for example, is titled "See real Cuba vs Michael Moore's"; it contains some compelling (and somewhat disturbing) footage from a former resident of Cuba. Now I have to wonder how many other videos are out there that Moore is not approving.
moore does alot of fluff when asked why he never asks the hard queations like the differant stories rudy, silverstien, and others gave about how building 7 was brought down he just mumbled "that would be unpatriotic" go figure

And I just edit out all my "umms" in my videos (and there's plenty of them, lol)
The video link read "Michael Moore joins the.." I was completely expecting you were going to say "michael moore joins the presidental race". But you didn't, so it's okay.
the only criticissm i have of this vid applies to some of your others, too -- put links to the sites you're reviewing or make it clear in the video! do you know what a YT search for "michael moore" returns?
Thanks for not showing more of the Michael Moore clip. The ums were quite annoying. I would like to now tell him, that we at youtube do second and third takes if necessary and try and rehearse what we plan on saying, otherwise we would bore everyone to death. Great video James.
