You people are making such a big deal about hair length. It's freakin' hair; it will grow back. My sister just donated and she looks adorable. I personally wouldn't want to donate until my hair is longer because I've had short hair and it looked pretty bad. Everyone has different tastes.

Women began cutting their hair short to 'keep up with eh boys', the reason being long feminine haired women aren't seen as powerful (because they do not appear masculine and competent). they went on the show to get ther 15 minutes & I bet you there all very sorry now My own hair is 30 inches long & it cost me almost $4000 in trims, shampoo, & conditioner to get it to this length not to mention over six & a half years of growing With a trim every 2 months I have a net gain of 3/4 of an inch They all should have told mauri to go to hell

@coolpunkxx I'd say it takes a lot more than that! Look at the captions, one of them says 23 years without cutting her hair (OK maybe it stopped growing after ten years or so). Some people will never get hair that long, it's not even possible for everyone.

I think this type of show, just like most "makeover shows", is just a disgusting way of enforcing conformism and making people look, not better, but as the dominant ideology say they should look...
