dude slow down a little. this is a dark love song. i play this song too and i know how easy it is to play it fast. i enjoy playing it fast but it is so much better if u slow down. just try it and see how it feels to you playing it slow.

@zanzibarpat The song is about comparing love and glycerine. Glycerine is a chemical that is used in the chemical make up of....make up. Yeah cosmetics. Glycerine has a fatal flaw however, if It is not handled correctley, it can turn violent and explode.

Love is beautiful, like cosmetics, but terribley explosive and violent at times as well.

Haha, thank you! Gavin has always been a huge influence on me. I do need to redo this one though. I agree with others that it's too fast. I've heard Gavin play it in all kinds of tempo variations, but I think it's more angsty when it's slower. And I think I can do better than this.  Thank you so much for watching though!

Sure, but this song is so simple that's it's virtually no challenge at all. Any 12 year old kid can master the guitar bit in less than a week and anyone with a grunge voice can perform it just aswell as this guy as long as he knows the lyrics.

From an artistic standpoint this has little value and it serves little use as a display of skills or progress, at least when coming from an artist as fully fledged as this guy.

i agree with s4jit to an extent.

this is definitely a ridiculously easy song to learn and play. it's just four powerchords on loop, with a slight changeup before the last verse.

however, i'd say it has tremendous value from an artistic standpoint, the song may be minimalist but the emotions are undeniable. from a technical standpoint, it's nothing special due to its simplicity.

5/5 on the cover btw, prolly the best cover on youtube right now :)
