  • Siamese fighting fish can actually live up to 7 years in proper conditions and a large tank that is suited to their natural habitat.

  • thats a beautiful fish!

  • Cool i would put a snail or some strong hardy shrimp to controll algae not that you have any its just nice to prevent it form comin

  • Calcifer + Castle = totally freaking awesome! Love that book, very nice reference! ;)

  • Awesome little guy you got there. Make sure you get a heater with an adjustable knob and keep his temp between 75-80 to help keep him healthy. Don't overfeed the guy as he'll get swim bladder, in which case you'll have to "fast" him for a couple days and try even feeding him cooked peas for constipation. Vary his diet, always. If you notice color change or weird spots on him and his attitude totally changed... time for meds. It can be expensive if you want him to live long.

  • nice everything, except i think that current is a little too strong.

  • Nice man.

  • Wow! He's very hyper :) FRISKY! lol. Very cute, beautiful fish and great tank, though you should be keeping a thermometer on the tank. . .there are tips on my channel!

  • look cool do more vids about it

  • The current seems way way to strong for a bettas. They do not require filtration as they breath air, not oxygen in the water.

  • ^ True that, but there are ways to lessen the floe either way! I have a hex 5 and a 3 gal. by Eclipse and the 3 gal had a harder flow rate for some reason.

I hope this cutie's still alive, what a hunk! lol

  • THAT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FISH!!!!

  • Betta Fish can live up to 3 years if they are very well taken care of, but most of them live to about 1 to 2 years with proper care.

  • @xxKatKatastrophexx actually with great care they can live 8 to 10 years, and on rare occasions, 13 years

  • @xxKatKatastrophexx mine live about 6 years

  • @xxKatKatastrophexx Five years* if well taken care of Mine usually last 4-5 years.
