You never mentioned that Niaicin(Vitamin B3), can abort an LSD trip. I think that's a pretty important piece of information, as Nicacin is safer than benzodiazepines. I haven't found any studies that look at the effects of Niacin during a phenylethylamine trip. If anyone does have said information, please post. Thanks.

They are safe and effective if they are absolutely needed. Whatever you do stay away from the old brain dead medical practice of atypical antipsychotics while on a 5HT agonist. Whoever dreamed up that treatment needs his teeth pulled without anesthetic.

Benzodiazepines can be habit forming. Do some independent research, and be careful. They're not completely safe.

I would recommend a calm, cool, and collected trip sitter. Someone that is able to project their voice, and induce a relaxation response in the tripper.

Also, if you have the discipline and the patience, practice emptying your mind of all thoughts. That will stop a panic attack.

If you have as much anxiety and tension as Neurosoup, than I'd recommend MDMA.

I disagree with your view on meditation. I've been experimenting with psychedelics for 14 years, and practicing daily meditation and yoga for 6 years. The conclusion I've come to, is that meditation, is like learning to swim in the shallow end. Taking a psychedelic is jumping into the deep end. According to "The Tibetan Book of the Dead(The Psychedelic Experiment)," people who are skilled in one-pointed meditation, stay in the First Bardo(non-game ecstatic bliss) longer than any one else.

First of all, I think you cling to this "godhead" concept, which causes you to make contradictions. You say this experience can't be conceptualized, and that doing so will affect the essence of the experience, but right after you give it the label of "godhead." Do you see it?

JNdigital, you are very right., I would add, also, the VERY important tryptamine, DMT, which is the most important tryptamine, in my opinion and experience. I would recommend DMT to you, as it is the easiest acceptable psychedelic for the body, together with 5MeO-DMT.

And yes, one can truly reap and sOw (sow not sew, as in 'sowing seeds' )profound (deep) insights and physical and psychological benefits from the use of entheogenics/psychedelics. They make other medicine obsolete, IMHO.
