  • Nice flying and smooth on the decent. I have a RAM suction mount for my camera, works great to position and stabilize the camera.

  • Thanks for the compliments!

I seen "sticky pods" but didn't go this route as I figured would be a pain putting it up and taking it down when I wanted to get wing views or instrument panel views

  • 6000 feet, you must be above the haze. Layer I'm luck to get anywhere near that altitude in the UK. Class A airspace everywhere there's only a few pockets where you go that high. Damm

  • We do take a lot for granted here in the USA on our piloting privileges, no question about that!

Yes, I am usually above the haze even in the summer where it averages in the upper 90s F, my average altitude for cross country trips are between 7 and 9000 feet for trips longer then 2 hours just to get out of haze and find cool weather!

This was a one hour trip so couldn't justify going up to 8000.

  • good use of in-flight checklists. I need to start using my more often. I am normally very careful with the before takeoff checks but I slack when it comes to in flight check lists.

  • that was interesting..no place for pens and paper on my plane..[microlight]...gees what a checklist

  • dat wuz cool.

Tunica is only 20 mins from me too
