@Kurise1 He drives with way more balls than all the other guys. Someone driving on the very edge will always seem way faster than the guys who have a reasonable amount of fear going against them. This guy brakes HELLA late in most turns. Very impressive driving.

@buen0brim0 Its not that they do not know how to defend, but its the culture in which they race in. European racing you can go wheel to wheel, defend, push the other guy as far left or right as possible, while in the North American series you are no "allowed" to do that, there are penalties for causing crashes that people don't want.

@TheMasterWinner This is exactly why I like North American road racing (Nascar sucks IMO), running a blocking line is all well and good, but if you cause a crash you just put a faster driver out of commission.

If you are a faster driver you should be allowed to pass, the guy in front has no right to hold you back when you can easily out pace him.

Man all it would have taken is one of those people to not be looking and it would have been game over! lucky he was racing good drivers. great racing tho quite fearless on some of the highspeed corners!. These cars are lots of fun on iracing obviously not as much on the line as in real life :)

No, he wasn't taking significantly different lines.  His car was putting out more HP than the other cars. In a few instances he braked late but you are never pulling like this when you have a field of matched HP cars. I never found it fun to race when my car was overpowered on the field... the same is true when you are underpowered.

ya no kidding mcwrks... see above for two tools whose racing knowledge is eclipsed by that of paris hilton. All cars in the star mazda series use a SEALED 240 hp renesis. The reason he is passing so many cars is he is starting at the back of the field (see description)... basically he is passing drivers with inferior chassis/aero settings or inferior skill. Also notice how late he apexes many of the corners. Thats the real lesson here- LATE APEX = EARLY POWER APPLICATION = PASSING

I don't see any significant pulling on any cars considering the acceleration these cars have, its just him getting better corner exits.

The passes are well executed, but given that this is a development series and most of the drivers at the back of the grid (the ones he passed) will never go any higher, the quality and difficulty of the passes isn't there. 

Clearly Donoso knows how to pick his spots and execute a pass, now I want to see him do it against the front of the grid.

I've never seen this in extended, it's really awesome, the way Donoso drives and breaks at the end of the straight just impresses me every time I watch it.
