my personal favorite out of all the gundam series ive watched is zeta gundam, then gundam seed (not destiny). zeta had hands down the best plot, character development, etc. but i thought seed did a good job w/ that too. also what made these series the best for me was that I couldn't simply predict what was going to happen throughout the series. other series like x, wing, zz, and seed destiny, I was basically able to predict deaths/plot and i couldn't enjoy it as much. that's just my thought.

lol, Gundam Wing was my first look at Gundams. I'll admit, when I first saw the trailers or whatever on Toonami I thought 'What the hell is this?' and thought it wasn't any good, but now after watching a few episodes I soon started getting hooked to the whole Gundam series.

i liked gundam wing and seed, yes people are going to say "you suck" and "they were all shit" but you know what grow up, so i like wing and seed, like most people who like it, it was because it was the first gundam series to be dubbed and aired in the US. me i didn't start watching the origanal japanese versions of anime until a few years ago, and i plan to watch the other series now, but i still liked the story for Wing and Seed.

0079, 0080, 0083, 8th MS Team, Zeta, ZZ and Chars Counter Attack are the only true Gundam series.

G-Gundam, Gundam Wing and like-series are just knock-offs that happen to use the same terminology. The original story-line makes sense. Series like SEED are "ok" because they try to keep the same style of story-line. However, the other Gundam series fail to do so.

First off, I notice a bias right off from your name, which only lowers the credibility of this statement for me. Second, I didn't bring up G-Saviour and hated the movie, and having the same style is irrelevant. Macross 7 had the same style but I hated that. I didn't like the characters in SEED, I didn't like the cheap retcons in Destiny, and the mechs in SEED looked ridiculous to me. i think the reason why a lot of people like wing better is because it was the first gundam series to be shown outside japan...i think a few people only knew that gundam started even before they were even born (late '70s) it was in gundam's 20th anniv that they began showing earlier series after receiving positive feedback from gundam wing

Oh boo-hoo nicol and toll are killed off in seed. Pah, their deaths pail in comparison to that of the Shrike Team and many other characters in Victory Gundam (kill-em-all Tomino at his best).
