you dont even need to type player - just coc testinghall is good

to get out, u go into the green door on the right that says hawkhaven, from there you can swift travel to anywhere that you have unlocked, and no in game time will pass during the travel.

You can get into the testing hall on xbox, you just need to find a modded save of oblivion use modio with your existing save and put it on a usb flash drive. :)

There is another door, when you go up to it it says "Door to", it has every weapon armor and all the magical strengths of them, but they are all in chests so it may take a while to load and look though. Some of them tie into quest though so don't be surprised if you jack up the story line or get additional quest picking though the items.

its not a cheat, its not a secret, its a testing room which the developers didnt remove because you cant possibly get there without using the console.

in fact a room like that is very handy when you need to test if everything is working properly with your weapons

@dagesminion sadly it doesn't work that way friend. The Dev console is only available on the PC version of Oblivion, and is not present on either console version. But that's not to say you can't get here on the console, there is a glitch (at least on 360) where you go to the abandoned mine, save the game save onto a USB, and use a hex editor to put yourself in the test cell. From there you have access to EVERY ITEM IN THE GAME, so in my opinion it's worth it. Not sure for ps3.
