(i've played both games so i have a right for opinion) 2k10 has mosre realistic goal celebrations, and i love how they have other modes like pond hockey, mini hockey etc. But thats just because its an arcade game, nhl 10 is a sim.
People are just drinking the EA brand name kool-aid thats all. NHL EA really isnt all that good and it takes a rocket science degree just to play it, couple that with it being WAY TO FAST to call realistic and many people now know why about 40% of the market buys 2K hockey. 2K is very realistic and alot more fun than EA NHL and thats why I bought NHL 2K10 on Wii this year...great game!!!

That gave an idea. We should pick up about 10 players that don't know anything about NHL, not even players and teams and make them play NHL 04 to 10 without they knowing which version they're playing and ask them which game is the best.
I'm sure that most of them will not answer nhl 2k10.
