  • Anyone run into Don Henley down there?

  • He's two cabins over.

  • Beautiful, and beautifully described.

  • Thanks, 'stranger'. Tell your friends.

    :)

  • That first one creeps me out and calls to me at the same time.

  • :)

    :)

  • Now I know where to get away from it all... It reminds me of the 1930's dustbowl except with trees...

  • You should see the cabins that aren't kept up as well or have been abandoned.

  • Now I'm getting the picture :)

  • :)

    :)

  • Suttree, is all I'm sayin', repeating myself.

  • :)

    :)

  • Interesting...the black & white photograghy gives it a timeless feel

  • It's a timeless place!

    :)

  • The video and music seem to have been made for each other. It reminded me a bit of a ghost town. Very moving... Thank you.

PS Fav'd and featuring this one too. : )

  • Thanks!

    :)

  • My pleasure!

    : )

  • Off-key music for an off-key world.

    :)

  • : )

  • There is some comforting beauty in the photography of the rotting corpses of wood.

  • Poetically put.

    :)

  • There IS ~ "A gilded halo hovering round decay".

    Peace.

  • YES! You get it! Thanks!

  • In keeping with the East Texas theme==SCARY looking boathouses!

  • Scary? Really?

  • Yes, a few are missing a few boards.

  • So I guess my smile must make you shriek.

  • Came, watched, took it all in.

Left feeling very serene and introspective.

  • Another successful video!

    :)

  • Definitely. You're not just uploading cool videos here. You're sharing your art.

  • Watching this video made me strangely happy.

  • Me, too. Tell your morose friends.

    :)

  • Are these places abandoned?

    They seem to be.

The piano music is purposely out of tune/key odd music.

  • Out of tune music for out of tune boathouses. The cabins and boathouses are inhabited.

  • "A place where you can hear yourself and nature think"....You made it sound so beautiful with that statement!

  • Communing with nature can be. Thanks.

  • Cool boathouses, nice video :)

  • Thanks

    :)
