Yeah book was great -- similar one which made me laugh out loud was Mission Mongolia -- Two Men, One Van, No Turning Back by David Treanor. Hilarious account of similar trip.

I watched the entire set of DVDs over the last two weeks and it was pretty good! There were a few things I think might have been done better, or I would have liked to see more of, but I didnt make these trips or produce the programs. Kudos to these guys hanging it out there and going for it (OK, Charlie's self-doubt gets a little old).

they made a video out of it and ofcourse there's lot more material. Thing is you have to sell it to a tv station and they deside how many episode they want of it. air time and all.

I got the 2 disk set from NetFlix. I can't remember how long it was but it seemed awfully short.

The US ride to NYC had (if I remember correctly) almost nothing to it except a stop at Orange County Choppers (BFD). I did enjoy the Manchurian and Russian part. I watch motorcycle vloggers who make 10 minute videos where all they do is ride and talk.I like that stuff. More is better!

I like Ewan and Charlie's adventures. More is better.

true. I bought the original dvd's and it has 3 discs.

disc 1 - episodes 1,2,3,4

disc 2 - episodes 5,,6,7,8

disc 3, episodes 9,10

US also has dakota,, canada, soem flying watching bears. that accident. HD factory.

it also has some extra's unseen material, extended footage and interviews after they were back in England.

the best tv road show for a very long time..if you can get the 3dvd set..loads of extended scenes..the guys seem to be the 2 nicest guys about. Ewan always finds something to laugh about..very infectious..watch THE LONG WAY DOWN and Charlies DAKAR dvd..its great too..get the books wear the t shirts this is shit hot stuff!!!! LOVE IT
