  • Shouldn't I have heard, "Doors closing, Fermeture de la Portes"

  • @cyndie26 No, never. Where did you hear that?

  • great

  • i thought the rubber wheels prevented the trains from going above groud? (to avoid getting stuck in snow banks)

  • @howardkevinm If it were to go above ground the steel wheels would go into use, they are located behind the rubber wheels.

  • the best subway/metro transit system in Canada. Whenever I visit montreal for vacation (that would be every year b/c I just love Montreal) I just grab my Opus card put money in it and I am on my way out visiting all the beautiful places. Montreal Metro is sooooo fast. At times I felt its going to bump into sth. Love it.

  • @sabbirsa Thanks for commenting! Yes it's fast and the Opus card is just great.

  • @AntoDamicoShow Yes. However I find communicating with the drivers a huge problem. They do not like when someone speaks english to them and gives a bad look. Don;t like that.

  • @sabbirsa You just have to hope that the driver you're communicating with is good in English...

  • @AntoDamicoShow even if they are i always felt they deliberately did it. I always hoped I get a driver who is not a french canadian. in fact I have had drivers from haiti and China and they were much nicer than the french ones. no offense.

  • @AntoDamicoShow we have PRESTO now and our Toronto Rockets are faster than MR73s

88 km/h vs (wait, how fast can MR73s go?)

  • @GordonFreemanD40 72... but it's all about acceleration and braking... so 50's technology still beats the toronto rocket lol

  • @AntoDamicoShow MITRACs have better technology and better braking, as well as acceleration

  • @GordonFreemanD40 How steep of an incline can it climb?

  • @AntoDamicoShow between Davisville and St. Clair it goes up a steep incline. if going north it travels up the tunnel until outside and then goes up a hill for about half a minute until it's above Yonge street, and then the track splits up into Davisville Yard.

  • @GordonFreemanD40 How many degrees is the incline?

  • @AntoDamicoShow well... The steepest incline the TTC has is a streetcar incline, and since streetcar tracks can operate subways on them because they are the same gauge in track, I'd say, If you stand on your head at the entrance of that tunnel and then measure that with a protractor, it's be just under 135 degrees (can't have a 90 degree cliff, people will die)

  • I always liked the chugging sound the MR63s make on take off...

  • I actually like the pronunciation of this voice more than the blue line lady.. I like how nice and slow she says "La STM vous souhaite la bienvenue a bord..prochaine station Monk"... the blue line one says it too fast ... However, I do like the blue line's "terminus..merci d'avoir voyage avec la stm..bonne soiree" voice more... I WISH I could find the ALL the different voices for the "bienvenue" AND "terminus" message..they sound different depending on the line's colour

  • @ammarios Actually it depends of which kind of train you take.

  • @coolsebas14 Oui :P

  • Oh oui (l)

  • WAAAAW! J'adore! Ça me donne l'envie de voyager jusque Montréal !

  • @jeremm6 Haha Oui!

  • tellement claire.

quell sorte de camera vous utilise?

  • @WHOAbananaaa Canon EOS 500D T1i avec 18-55mm f3.5

  • @AntoDamicoShow I have a JVC Evario with 2.5-80mm f=2.5. Who do i ask to film in the montreal metro?

    translated with babelfish.

J'ai un JVC Evario avec 2.5-80mm f=2.5. Qui est-ce que je demande à filmer dans la métro de Montréal ? traduit avec le babelfish.

  • @Balarick I have a permit from the STM, but nobody will say anything if you do film, everybody does it, the guards just pass it off as tourism.

  • @AntoDamicoShow funny though if your at an AMT train station and gaurds are there, they wont like picture taking...

  • i love how to green line always seems to be empty from Honore Beaugrand to berri.... but you were also in the last car lol

  • @STMclassic CT Anjou and CT Frontenac have good service so there isn't always need to take the metro.

  • Radisson that my station.

  • @Tarzanguy247 It's a really nice station, I love the tall ceiling. looks like a huge upside down staircase.

  • @AntoDamicoShow Radisson? It always reminds me of an ultra futuristic galaxy class star ship right out of Star Trek!

  • @MysticMTL yes, i thought the same thing. sometimes fiction inspires reality.

    translated with babelfish.

oui, j'ai pensé la même chose. parfois la fiction inspire la réalité.

    traduit avec le babelfish.
