That is a typical (Fear of Recoil) stance used by newbees. They think that this leaned back stance will some how ease the felt recoil from the weapon. It won't the best thing to do is assume a in line slightly dropped stance leaning slightly forward with the buttstock firmly where your shoulder and chest muscles meet. Recoil is simply a by-product of firing the weapon and is something to become accustomed to so it won't distract you from your weapons handling, sight picture and trigger control.
