I just saw the sub of gt's final episode. it is implied that goku died. i saw the dub before and made that guess. that's only because it was strange how goku appeared in areas like hell and disappeared. Also, when he formed the spirit bomb he took a hit head on from omega shenron's attacks and comes out unharmed.
