For instance - The NFL allows you to watch defensicve signals, from anywhere in the stadium, with binoculars and write down everything you see. You can even use a tape recorder to record what you've seen. Is using a camera really that much different?

If the cheating held such an impact on them winning the Super Bowl, why haven't they won more before they got caught? If the cheating held such an impact on them winning the Super Bowl, why haven't they won more before they got caught? I think if Roger Goodell, a man who is very protective of the NFLs image, thought those tapes would have had an impact on their championships, he would have stripped them of the titles, just to make an example of them.

sigh....teams have so many formations, so many plays, so many hand signals, and they change them weekly...i guarentee you the spygate tapes did little to help win football games. Baseball players steal signs, you still have to hit the pitch. Basketball teams run VERY few plays, and they are all very similar, you still have to stop it. Everyone just wants to be a critic...

@graveyard090 The Spygate was revealed in late 2007. The Patriots beat the Jaguars and the Chargers in the 2007 playoffs to reach the Super Bowl. So that claim of the Patriots not winning postseason games is false.
