  • i hear you guys on not using knee pads, a tape or chalk line...but people who dont use that stuff have enough experience to where they wont be watching this video anyway lol...this is a video for people not knowing what they are doing

  • @duke120287 Thank you for the comment, are intention is to show people how the pros install roofing. Every one has there own way of doing it, so this is how we do it. Thank You

  • Thanks for the very informative and interesting video!

  • chaulk lining is never a bad idea man it actually reduces time in the long run because you can just line your shingle up to the lines and not worry about lining it up with the gun guide anymore. Then again chaulk lining is more important when doing three tab shingles and not architectural.Nice vids

  • Wow man I have not seen a Senco Staple gun in 11 yrs. I remember my first senco was serial #900184 wow going on 27 yr man we used to lay some sqs those sencos were fast! Dyib For the vid. Good looking roof to I love the look of the z ridge

  • good vid. They did forget the bottom course along the perimeter of the pipe flashing. A hook blade was used so those who complaing about cutting on top of paper and shingles thats why this tool was invented DUH! Kne pads what the yeck are knee pads Roofers dont use knee pads. After 26 yrs of roofing I myself do not need a tape or chaulk line I am a roofing machine

  • @artsroofing1 Thanks Very much, I agree with you!!

  • What a boring narrator. I literally fell asleep watching this. Not even joking, I fell asleep and woke up over an hour later with this video up

  • We are showing you how the pros install roofing, no pro has knee pads, or safety glasses on, we do use fall protection, and for the cutting on the roof, we use hook blades so that you don't cut through. As for the use of a tape measure as long as the starter row is installed correct you never need a tape the roofing gun has a guide on it to set the row. Workers are trained to install quickly and not wast time.

  • I'm a DIY home owner currently re-roofing my house. Although the tutorial is appreciated I found some reasons why I started to do it myself instead of hiring this so called specialists.

Worker keeps cutting shingles on top of the paper. Over stapling. No ruler, chalk line or even straight edge was used. He is so busy finishing the job that forget he was been taped. No safety glasses, gloves or knee pads.

  • @ecuadoreandog Dude, the blade has a hook not stright edge... Also safety glasses do not make you a good roofer just a safer person! Chalk lines for what? These guys been doing it so long that just buy eye and shingle edge they may be "MAY" be 1/4" off and thats ok per manufacturer and code... even with your chalk lines you will be 1/4" off after laying 20 plus rows... Also over stapling was explained..... he stated if your in wind and rain you need to.. it's clear they are in wind and rain!

  • best video i seen ,thanks ,,,

  • THANK YOU!!
