I had an aunt that died and I felt so sad I never really knew her very well but I saw her the year before and I loved her! the next year after, she died and I was distraught! I cried throughout the memorial that we gave her. What lifted my spirit was that Hilary was there to sing for us. I can't remember all to well what song it was but I instantly felt comforted and felt that everything was going to be okay. Hilary Weeks is an amazing person and I luv what she did for me, just by singing a song

He's there even if your pain is too much. I have no idea what you must be going through, but Jesus Christ does.....just give Him a chance to comfort you. Turn to Him when it feels like too much to bear, He's waiting for you. <3

this song gets me through every trial i face. im only fifteen but i have an enourmous testimony of the gospel and the power of prayer. this song just reiderates everything that i know to be true.
you know, it says that in times when no human words can take away your sorrow and no human eyes can see what you're going through, he'll lift your heavy load and carry you. He HAS gone through every imaginable pain and CAN carry you and the load, too! But we have to be humble and believe he can help. He brings peace. Sometimes He works thru another person! He will tell him/her exactly what to say to help. Other times, the pain will just go away and you will get more perspective.

Cancer is just one of those unfortunate things, and I think unless we 've personally gone through something like that or we've been down that road before, we'll never truly understand all that people go through. And it's awesome your friend in the ward helped you to realize that there is more to life than ending it. I bet the love of your life sent your friend as an angel to help save you. The lord does work in mysterious ways.
@LDS4Life62 I am Carina,and Bernard was my fiance,we were going to marry on the month of May after a beautiful 8 years relationship we shared together..On the 11th of September he passed away with an asthma attack...this was the most painful moment in my life...only darkness and pain.he was only 24...luckily all his friends and my family were here to support and listen to me..I hope you are alright now and that God has sent lots of blessings in your life...
