myself and my dad were camping at the beach.. we went out of the tent to walk down along a path to the water even though it was storming(not smart) , and a bolt of lighting hit right next to the path on a spot a few metres ahead of where we were standing. scariest shit of my life, both my dad and myself were blown flat on our backs. i still think lightning is really beautiful though.

I record lightning as a hobby. both in the day or at night. Your effect software is noticeable pressing pause/play over and over from 0:08 - 0:14.

The effect starts milliseconds before it hits. If you press it fast enough and get the exact frame where you see the effect start, just before you hear the very noticeable fake sound effect, and than the lightning. You will see it.

The light starts in video from the bottom up, not from above to bottom.

Which means its an impressive doctored video.

Suddenly scud formed and next thing you know there's a severe thunderstorm plowing through. Very dangerous and misleading conditions for pilots and people on the ground.
