Just because someone is a celebrity, does not EXCUSE THEM from fucking jury duty. As an American citizen, you must fulfill your duty when your name is drawn for jury selection.

No matter how many times I tell them that the whole court system is corrupt and it's just a corporate scandal to extract even more money from honest citizens by ticketing them for stupid laws like possession of cannabis or J-walking, they still draw my name and pay me 30 cents even though I miss a day or more of work....

@frenolito lol, technically they can arrest you, or at least send out a bench warrant, and fine you up to 1,000 dollars, but there's a lot of grey area. For instance, They send you a Summons, they don't know if it may of got lost in the mail, or you never received it, or you were out of town. There's no way of them knowing. I threw mine away for the past 10 years and nothing ever happened. I got one for next week. They pay so I might do it just to see what it's like. It'll be my first time going
