  • Dutch don't spent hours for dinner. Only in restaurants where they rarely go to. The usually dinne for about an half hour.

  • Maybe this is a fun consemp. for a new boardgame

  • would love to include this on my blog.

    Let me know

  • Beautiful city

  • If you're still in A'dam you should check out the Gamekeeper at the Hartenstraat 14, a great boardgamestore, ( it's not too far from the Palace on the Dam ;) )

  • Yup, I went and spent money there on Stephenson's Rocket and the new Dutch reprint of Princes of Florence

  • Figures,.. I bet I was stating the obvious by mentioning The Gamekeeper to you...

alas, I'll be looking forward seeing your Dutch review of 'De Vorsten van Florence' on BGWS. :D

  • Hi Scott!

This was very cool, and awkward at the same time ;)

Who knew to see my favourite boardgame reviewer not too many miles from where I live..

Hope you had fun, and still do..

  • Ooooh, eating-out cultures. I miss those. What's interesting to me is the culture of openly tolerating an illegal thing. That the authorities don't take it personally that something controlled but illegal is going on, it's like a truce of sorts which lets both sides of the divide live the way they want without one encroaching on the other. Very smart.

  • very informative.learned quite a bit.
