a universal stud for a detachable belt clip fits into that.. you screw it in from the back, and it has a square plastic "washer" that keeps it from spinning..

@20son09 its for like if u want that little holder u can snap it on to the case nd it can hold on to it like on your pants or something instead of in your pocket
