Yeah, the thing is, I'm hardly Veruca Salt's biggest fan by any means, but it seems different without Nina. I've always thought when a key member, songwriting or the like leaves a band, it should start afresh with a new name, because it will never be the same. I mean the stuff they come up with might not be bad by any means, but people will have expectations of such and such. But that's my opinion, feel free to argue against it.

I don't know if they have or not, but I would hope that for the sake of music that Nina and Louise patch up their differences. I still remember seeing clips of them on MuchMusic being interviewed shopping at a store together, and they are talking about how they are the best of friends, and it makes me sad to think that one of the most amazing musical partnerships since Lennon/McCartney had to break up so acrimoniously. I fear an enmity exists between them of John Fogerty-like proportions.

Louise and Nina had extremely different writing stlyes and vocal stylings. Just now, the songs sound more like "Striaght", "Shutterbug", and "Don't make me Prove It". They are a lot less poppy now, and they are still great.
