You can find Dry Ice just about anywhere the cheapest places are Fish packing stores, but just about any grocery store normally between $1-2 bucks per pound but fish or meat stores are the best because you can get it really cheap about $1 buck for 5 lbs.

I hear everywhere that your always supposed to leave at least a 1 inch space between your fog machine nozzle and the pipe. This is because it needs to mix with the air to correctly turn into fog. If you put it right onto the nozzle, some fog will turn back into liquid and you will use much more fog juice than you need to. Hope this helps!!!!

HI I saw your Question If you live in the continental USA then you should be able to get some at your local Super Market, the place to ask for it would be at the meat department because when meat is packed to be shipped to a store it is usually packed with DRY ICE so they should give you some if you ask and tell them what you want it for. you should be able to get 10 lbs of it for about 15-20 dollars but that is all relative to where you are.

The only problem with putting dry ice into the the punch bowl is that if some moron somehow scoops it up and is too much of a dumbfuck to realize it, he can harm himself by drinking it, as the temperature will instantly kill whatever part of his esophagus or stomach it touches. Many people use TWO bowls for this reason. An outer bowl with water and dry ice, and an inner bowl with punch.

If you use large chunks of dry ice in the punch bowl the "puch" itself will create a Liquid ice shell arround the dry ice, and it will stop "fogging".

So use multiple smaller pieces about the size of golfballs.

Of course the more booze in the "Punch" the longer it takes for ice to form.

Most department stores have it, you usually have to ask for it. Another neat trick is that Seafood comes PACKED in Dry Ice and it is thrown away by the stores. I have had quite a bit of luck procuring it for free by requesting it be saved for me, so long as I am there to pick it up.

Once I had boiling water and put dry ice in it -- the boiling water was iced over (50F outside) by 6 hours, and the dry ice lasted 15 hours.

I recently bought a small fog machine and cauldron that gives a nice witches brew effect and you dont need fog juice at all you just need to submerge the little fog machine in ordinary tap water and it works awessome and because its just water there are no health issues :D I got it at WAL MART for abot $25 hope this helps
