it's not just a stick with a platform - in order to maintain the moment caused by (his weight)*(half the width of his body) it would require a pretty firm structure underneath the ground - probably a metal pipe encased in concrete - the "stick" is most likely just some resin or something slapped around a pipe to make it look like a stick. It's not like you can just push on him or the stick and the whole contraption will just fall over.

you guys want to know how he does it? theres two parts to the stick, first part is the stick connected to the ground. its wedged into a tight hole on a slight angle for balance and weight purposees and the other is the end he sits on, there is a custom made chair/place to sit on that slots through his pants, thats why he has his hand on it to cover it up.
