The Queen Mary 2 is so beautiful. cruise Liner get compete for Luxury & speed, but black hull Ocean Liners like Queen Mary 2 are in todays world truely all purpose Liners.

This year I hope to go on the Queen Mary 2 in the summer 2011 on the 3 voyages(Fouth of July Getaway,Grand Fjords and Waterfalls and Grand Scandinavian Adventure). It would make me happy! Why is that room called the Queen's Grill? Maybe it's because she brings her own meats and can barbeque it herself in private? I can just see her in her crown and apron flipping burgers for Phillip.
But don't worry, ships are incredibly safe these days. And while I can't say she's unsinkable I can say with confidence that I can't imagine anything that could possibly cause her to sink.
@M8T12B93 Cunard and everyone says she is an Ocean Liner, she isn't a cruise ship, because she was build with a thicker hull and is faster than cruise ships, in other words she was made to cross the Atlantic (that's what Ocean Liners are) and her lifeboats are set to a higher standard than Cruise ships. She was designed with her balconies to be "inserted" into the ship, if you look closely her balconies don't stick out like the Oasis's Balconies, that's to make sure the balconies are protected.

The Empire State Building 35 Meters taller than the QM2 is long
QM2 is 345 meters long.
