  • WOW.

  • man you're cute!

  • wow i like the style of your painting!

  • Thanks for posting this, as it helps to show how to handle gouache in its application. Yes, the white is wonderfully helpful. Just needed to see how much flexibility you had with wash applications on paper. Very cute result!

  • WOW! awesome! :DDD <3 so what did u to before painting? :o did u sketch it first?

  • @cozmoneku yup i lightly sketched it first.

  • WOW! Lovely! I just googled for a video for 'gouache painting' and this is the first hit i got! Thanks a lot for showing me this technique!

  • @MaduTheImaginator haha really? there are so much better gouache videos out there, funny how this was your first hit. and no problem! thank you for watching. =)

  • I like your style :)

  • if you want to leave something white you should of used paper/rubber cement but all in all good job :)

  • @poly831 what do you mean?

  • @veeevy Rubber cement is a sort of glue that you put over the area you want to remain white, and then when you are done you just peel it off.

  • @shrimpsmiaka1995 ohh i just didn't understand what role rubber cement played. hahah, i get it now, thanks for explaining! i learn something new everyday. :]

  • This is AWESOME !!!!!!!

  • wow cool!, can you teach me how to paint? because i can draw but i cant paint...

  • wow great work !!! you're amazing :D

  • not bad but might I suggest using something other then ballpoint for the outline? Even a darker tone of gouache can make it pop out more then any line :D

also saw it in 3d and it was okish, didnt need it. and do you have a deviant art page or something like that?

  • @ghettoninja69er thank you for the suggestion! i might try it next time. all i need is a reallllllly thin brush to outline it. x__x

unfortunately i don't have a dA page. i use to, but i didn't post that many of my works on there...

  • nothing to say just love art only if i can draw like you ( :

  • @HurricaneAubrey i'm glad to hear it!

  • awesome awesome

  • Veevy, this is amazing! I love how you can create delicate paintings even if the character is intimidating.

I was wondering what pens you use for your paintings? Whenever I paint in acrylics it actually makes the pen run out whenever I go over it.

  • The pen I'm using is actually from any regular ol' store.

A gel ink kind of pen. :)

Is it thick acrylic you're going over or thin? It doesn't work too well with paints. Haha, I had some problems with my pen at times.
