  • @sunteam I have to admit i'm not sure because it was so longago and the guy had every posible console and game you can think off

  • @spidermonkeynr1 The only games I can think of that had actual video footage (not including anime) was John Madden Duo CD Football and Sherlock Holmes...I'm pretty sure it's not those :)

  • @sunteam Thnx for youre time i'll keep searching

  • I have been looking for years now for a game for the pc engine. But i don't know the name. It's a game that's starts with a video of real people then you drive in a car. It's not realy driving but you must follow directions on the screen with arrows left right and stuff. And when youre done with a stage you get onther video of people. It's been so long ago that i only remember little thing like this but a friend of mine had it. I hope you know what game it is

  • @spidermonkeynr1 I can think of a *single* game that this describes. Are you sure it wasn't on the Mega-CD or something?

  • @sunteam I have to admit i'm not sure because it was so longago and the guy had every posible console and game you can think off

  • Hi I'm looking for a game on the PC engine anfd haven't a clue of it's name. You are a bunch of mutants playing a mixture of American football and real football. Please help!!

  • @19822andy I have no idea - there is a kind of baseball game called Kickball..?

  • @19822andy It might be Mutant League Football.

  • @godlesswickedvanian I've found the game I was looking for. It wasn't a PC engine game but an early PC DOS game called Brutal Sports Football

  • I need to have this console, I have a fetish with it for some reason.

  • Just started to explore PCE-CD library, can`t identify by myself... 1:35 1:46 2:26 2:31 2:39 2:42 2:54 4:51 6:22 - what the names?

  • @realavt 1:35 Gunbuster, 1:46 Flash Hiders, 2:26 Ranma 1/2, 2:31 Black Hole Assault, 2:39 Final Zone II, 2:42 Exile (or Spriggan if you mean the shooter), 2:54 Cho Aniki, 4:51 Spriggan mark 2, 6:22 Dead of the Brain : I think these are right, some of the times could have been one or the other, double check with my site to make sure.

  • I love your Game Blasts man, i hope you do more for other consoles.

    Thanks!

  • arghh, there were a few action titles in there I didn't recognize! I might ask you for a list later myself :P

  • Just note the times and I'll see if I can help you :)

  • nvm, figured most of them out :)

  • Haha, you should just post a whole list of the games :D

  • alot of the games look good coud you name them all in order id like to try them if thers a emulater site for thes games

  • Can somebody name all the fighting and beat them up games for pc-engine on cds? I'm tryuing to build a collection - of course I use gamefaqs, but their listings are not correct - there are more fighting games in this video than in their list)))

  • The first part of the background music come from Ys, I think. It's so good.

  • What is the name of that shooter at 0:40 pray tell? If possible I would like to try to get it.

  • Psychic Storm, not a bad little shooter with some nice graphics.

  • Does anyone know what the game at 1:06 is? The one right before Prince of Persia?

  • That's Builder Land

  • Ha, ha. I was expecting this. Nice job on this one. I didn't anticipate that I would be able to recognize a large amount of CD-ROM games since I felt I did not specialize in this as I don't even have a CD add-on for my TurboGrafx-16 (perhaps someday I will, but probably not too soon). However, the number of games that I was able to name is striking to me (perhaps I have your videos and website to thank for that, Sunteam_Paul). Here I go once again for all of the titles that I am familiar with:

  • Super Air Zonk, Tengai Makyou: Fuun Kabuki Den, Bonanza Bros., Exile, Cotton, Valis IV, Ai Cho Aniki, Blood Gear, Jim Power in Mutant Planet, Ultrabox No. 3, Valis III, Golden Axe, Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, Psychic Storm, Shadow of the Beast, Ranma 1/2, Dynastic Hero, Gotzendiener, Ys Book I & II, Hellfire S, Shanghai 2, Prince of Persia, Forgotten Worlds, Horror Story, Puyo Puyo CD, Baby Jo the Superhero, Rainbow Islands, Loom, Zero Wing, L-Dis, Hiho Densetsu, Chiki Chiki Boys...

  • It Came From the Desert, Super Raiden, Kiaden 00, Gain Ground SX, Godzilla, Star Parodier, Advanced VG, Art of Fighting, Tengai Makyou ZIRA, Spriggan, Pop n' Magic, Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys, Schbibinman 3, Legend of Dekoboko, Double Dragon, Gate of Thunder, Splash Lake, Riot Zone, Altered Beast CD, Last Alert, Genocide, The Addams Family, Ys III: Wanderers of Ys, Adventure Quiz, Panic Bomber, Star Moble, Terraforming, Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire, Download 2, Dragonball Z, Fighting Street...

  • Iga Ninden Gao, Dungeon Explorer II, Avenger, Snatcher, Strider, Sailor Moon Collection, Wonder Boy in Monster Lair, Valis, Super Darius, John Madden Duo Football, Lords of Thunder, Spriggan Mark II, Buster Bros., Magical Dinosaur Tour, Sailor Moon, Gradius II, Sylphia, Super Darius II, Sherlock Holmes, Kazi Kiri, and Space Fantasy Zone. That should be all of the ones that I've at least seen a bit of before. Again, I apologize if I have spelled any of the games incorrectly.

  • I've read before that you were planning to make a Game Blast video for the Sega Master System, too. I'd love to see that one if you ever make it (also, I've made a flaw in this list that I forgot to correct earlier: Vails III appears two games after Spriggan Mark II, not before Golden Axe as I had confusingly put it). The two music pieces I recognize in this are the beginning one with the "End of Book I" cutscene from Ys Book I & II, and the Blazing Lazers remix music from Star Parodier (yay!).

  • Jesus. Did you spent all day figuring out with all those games are? lol

  • From my coming-to-two-years of learning about PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 titles, I've come to be quite familiar with a number of games on the system. For the purpose of listing all the ones I've seen before without a need of later correction, I've allowed myself to do research only on the titles that I've seen before for name correction and verification. That list took me a couple of hours to completely write and submit it.

  • I admire your dedication :)

  • Thank you, Sunteam_Paul. I had thought you would be quite proud of how much I've learned about the system. I see that there's still plenty of games that need to be fully known, so there's still titles left to explore.

  • Too bad they are always going to be overlooked by the majority of western retro gamers who don't look past the Marios, Sonics, Megamans, and Final Fantasies. At least we are aware of what we missed out on. That is what matters.

  • You're very right about that. There are other franchises/games that are also fondly remembered by older gamers (and some younger ones as well), such as Bomberman, Pac-Man, Street Fighter, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Metal Gear Solid. At the time when the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboDuo were available, I would've been too little to even play video games, so I was likely to miss out on the system regardless. I'm glad that I was able to discover this hidden treasure later to enjoy it, though.

  • I love it!! Bravo!! :D

But what is that Commando/Ikari Warriors game at 1:56?!

  • That is Gain Ground. Got that for Genesis.

  • About 75% of the games you put up I have never seen before. o_o

  • About 100% of that 75% look real special.
