The movie might have been better without Tim Zinnemans' Svengali actress Meg Tilly using a fake accent. Either cast an actress from Oklahoma, or just let her talk the way she does naturally. This is what you get when a 55 year old producer hires his 24 year old girlfriend to play a teenager. Bad casting.

You have to have Emilio Estevez and Matt dillion in S.E. Hinton based movies. They make the movies great. Rumble Fish, The Outsiders, Emilio stared in That was then, This is now. I love S.E Hinton based movies they all have the same concept.
