  • 何度観ても感動が頭を押す!~カーラのピアノは極限美の世界~カーラ・ブレイ と寄り添うスティーヴ・スワロー #jazzm

  • 毛什么的文艺女青年去死吧,艺术不要被降格。

  • doce...dimais.

  • Notice the deep meaning of each sound . I think instrumental music is far more profound than vocal music. And obviously more impersonal, neutral. Carla Bley: sublime musique as always !

  • 二人の会話、カーラ・ブレイ と スティーヴ・スワロー~美旋律の最大才女~BEAUTIFUL! #jazzm

  • Много любимо! :)

  • unhhuh

  • NICE

i heard they live in tortola

    craig morrison

    roundtownsound

  • Chord changes sound a little bit like "Unforgettable". Anyone agree?

  • i loved it

  • weird looking people make the best music

  • Steve looks a bit like a gray-haired Quagmire (from Family guy)?

  • I really don't care what they look like. Such organized sound in silence transcends fashion and facial expression. In spite of the heavenly nature of the tune, let us not forget the incredible focus and concentration responsible for its creation. A Neru jacket, or a turtle neck, or a mullet are besides the point. Just close your eyes and drift away. PEACE...

  • wow... that is ...love.

  • This is great , if only I could see her eyes. Also Steve looks really creepy!! maybe they should be more like relaxed.hu.

  • Just the very right moment to hear such from them both, incredibly chilling, easy listening, good qualified, taking mind away, it has it all! 5* and many thanks for the post

    Thank you.

  • Cozy/Make Yourself At Home "Lawns"(LOUNGE) music.

  • they both look like muppets

  • I'm not normally a very emotional kind of guy, but I think my heart is about to explode... That was transcendent...

  • Lockedand loaded.

  • May I use this this opportunity to thank Carla for her monumental work "Under the Volcano".

  • I first heard this song on David Sanborn show. It was called: "Healing Power" Love this song.

  • @Tellusnow Actually, this song is called "Lawns". It's on the same album as the more rock groove "Healing Power" which featured Hiram Bullock.

  • Does anyone have an idea of the model of bass that Swallow is playing here?

  • @IsuckYoungBlood he usually plays a Citron AE bass, though he used Gibson EB0s, Fenders and Parkers throughout his career. Fun fact: he always plays with an aluminum pick!!

  • @IsuckYoungBlood This particular Bass is an early F-Bass from Canada. It was made by George Furlanetto many, many years ago.

  • I am mesmerized watching this dance

  • Such an emotion. Thanks for sharing.

  • Sublime !

  • Simply a word: awesome.

  • I can never get enough of this piece.

  • Dreamy. Music at its best - plugged right into the heart.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Are they in any relationship ?

  • yeah...living together for close to 30 yrs i guess

a strange thing is how close she has been to any of her ex- or current lovers musically. think of paul b., mike mantler and steve. and they're all keeping up and revering each other constantly. quite distinct.

  • So wonderful!

  • åååååh its beatuiful !!!

  • i love the commentary this engenders. normally i have to put up w/ a lot foul mouthed chuckleheads w/ poor educations and really bad manners.thanks for being out there guys.

  • what words can't describe, music can.

  • @vanilleclassique

    Well put.

  • Just the very right moment to hear such from them both, incredibly chilling, easy listening, good qualified, taking mind away, it has it all! 5* and many thanks for the post

  • Life.

  • nice

  • Wow!!

I have been a big fan of this song since it came out in 1987. I have the LP and the CD. Larry Willis played the piano on this orginally, and Carla played the organ. It's a fantastically wonderful piece and I fell like my life have been enriched by having come in contact with this tremendous composition.

    Thank you for posting this!!

  • damn good.

  • Steve reminds me of a well known masterpiece of Picasso, the old guitarist.

One big difference is that Steve is more lively in performances.

  • beautiful.... , doesn't real music sound so much better?

  • @bohigasss

    :-----)

  • this is awesome!

  • so, so, so, so beautiful....
