@Sevbomb1 No, I didn't need a special camera. I took a sturdy point and shoot up with me. I wrapped it in a piece of cloth, then put that inside a reusable sealing bag and kept it tucked in my belt close to my body. Your body heat will keep it (and the batteries) warm, the bag/cloth will keep moisture from getting into to the camera, which is what freezes and stops a camera.
