  • dancing is out of sync!! cha cha step should be done on 4th beat.

  • @zuril661 in bachata, I've seen people dance 'cha cha' step on all kinds of different timings. The bottom line is if it looks good then go with it.

    they are a bit out, That is why it looks like they are dancing "on 2" but this is not Cha Cha Rhythm, this was called Ritmical Boleros until the 1980's when Dominicans changed the name to Bachata. See Edilio Paredes interview. Dominicans don't like too many "crazy turns" like they say. They like to slide and grind and kicks small. Not too many turns, but good anyway. Puerto Ricans are the ones that twist and turn a lot. See Jorge y Tanya videos here. Both styles can be combined.
