@Thirdgen83 it really isint that bad first of all, i dont hear anyway else bitchin bout it just you. And oh yeah its from the 80's so have some consideration.
'Rita' s reaction is great...she looks so hurt when the guy is called a twisted old fruit lol... I think this scene owes a lot to Hunter Thompson, the gay hotel clerk checking them in in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
spinal tap their last tour and album would be "tapping out" gracefully.liike the how do we autograph it what do we do about autographs use a white paint marker pen.
i don't usually do citations in comments but "its such a fine line between clever and stupid" XD ... is just worth engraving on any monument (Stonehenge included:)
I watched the deleted scenes. I don't know why they deleted the hotel ones. He has a cricket board and the hotel clerk goes, "That's not allowed in the room sir." He goes why not? "We're not that type of hotel sir!" than the lady ask him what it's for. When he says cricket, the hotel manager said,"I've heard that before!" lmao!
The hotel manager has got to be the best cameo of all time. Every he says in this scene is hilarious - the way he looks with that hair and those glasses and that strange facial expression of obliviousness. If the 'Don't tempt me sir' and the 'I'm just as God made me sir' lines weren't enough, on the outtakes, the band manager says 'Don't you listen to anyone?!?' and the hotel manager says 'I listen to my priest'. - Brilliant.
This might be my favorite line in the movie - "Listen we'd love to stand around and chat, but we gotta sit down in the lobby and wait for the limo" - ROFLOL
There have been two instances in my life that were appropriate for breaking this gem out, and each time at least one person busted out laughing out loud!
"Its such a fine line between stupid and cleaver" Rob Reiner treads that line perfectly with his definative rockumentary that will never be surpassed.
haha i've seen this movie so many times and still there are so many parts i've missed like "what's the difference between golf and miniature golf.... I think it's the walls"

Duke Fame AKA Paul Shortino. Didn't get his break :/ shame really because his recent solo album is better than anything released today.
