@AgentNebraska Thank you for your reply i mean i want to draw a box with the following size:
Length: 2 feet and 3 inches
width: 3 feet and 11 inches
if i use the measure tool when i drag on empty area i couldn't really draw the specific measurements, ... i select pencil tool and i want to draw a 3 feet 2 inches but its goes more than 2 inches or less then 2 inches.
-
or tell me how can i resize a line using keyboard (i want to type the measurements from keyboard like 5 feet 3 inches) pls help me
where should i type 10x? how could i measure using my keyboard i mean if i want to make a box 5'x5'.12" then how could i write the specific measurment from my keyboard?
@mansoorgeorge you've probably already had your question answered but I'll tell you anyways. I'm pretty sure you literally just type, you don't have to click on anything it automatically types it into the lower right corner.
Yes that's right..They are toggle switches... ie you only have to hit the alt/option key, Then take your left hand away from the keyboard and the plus sign will still be there. So that means, select the move tool by hitting M and you'll see it. then hit alt or option mac/pc, you'll see the plus sing, then click M tool where desired on object-then to move-you can restrain the movement to axis by holding the shift key after a color registers but the plus is an on off toggle... does that help?
I enjoyed the tutorial. I've imported a lot of SketchUp objects to my projects in Live Interior 3D. You can see some walkthroughs of my projects on my page.
These directions are too vague. The easy way is to make your object a group or component, select it, hit rotate, click on the center for the array, hit control, pick your starting point, type the number of degrees you want seperating your objects, then type the number of objects and hit enter. No fuss, no muss, no 4 minutes and 12 seconds of confusion.
BEAUTIFUL

negimagics 8 months ago
@negimagics
i think you just type it in your keyboard and you can see it in the demensions bar.
but in order to type something for example "15m,15m" you dont click on the demension bar,you just type it.
