Gotta love Capcom. This theme was completely original, using only 058-107 from the original Rockman World 4. Although almost entirely new, this song can easily be imagined being pumped through the Gameboy. Awesome.
I'm not sure how to feel about Ballade's theme remix....except for the bits 0:59-1:05, the rest of the melody is an original track. It's only that tiny bit that is retained from Megaman IV.
@Jorbs3210 In Japan, the five Gameboy games were called Rockman World 1-5, but when they were released in the west, they were renamed simply Megaman Dr Wily's Revenge and then simple II - V, the same as the NES titles. Since Megaman IV can refer to both the NES and Gameboy games, I tend to reference the GB titles by their original names to avoid confusion, since Megaman IV (NES) is completely different from Megaman IV (GB).
@TheJeppesk I dunno. Ballade Cracker is good, and so is Screw Crusher. Mirror Buster is okay too. It's just kinda hard to pick from three already good weapons, y'know?
@crapheadandidiot Yeah. I recently practiced with all three weapons though, and they are all really good. Ballade cracker is probably the one you can use the most, while Screw crusher has the benefit of allowing 4 projectiles on screen. Mirror buster can reflect a suprisingly amount of different projectiles, including some bosses attacks too. All in all, they are all good weapons!
@TheJeppesk Ballade Cracker is probably my favorite, because it's a multi directional weapon a la the Shadow Blades or Metal Blades. Screw Crusher is great for hitting enemies below you and Mirror Buster, as you said, is very diverse in it's ability to reflect projectiles. So all in all, yes, they all rock hardcore! :)
@TheJeppesk Yeah. That would've REALLY helped with the LOL Machine Gun Joes in MM9, but then again, Proto Man's shield works just as well. Just needs a bit more skill to use.

If this theme were in Super Mario World, it would definitely be in one of the Vanilla Dome stages.

Screw Crusher and Ballade Cracker were perhaps the best weapons in the game that you don't have to beat Blade Man to get. Suprisingly versatile.

i was looking for one for super mario world!
welcome to the hack, ballade :D

@SatoshiMatrix1All of it's from Megaman IV, is just has extra beats inbetween the long ones.

@Jorbs3210
I don't think so. I have the soundtracks for both, and the main melody used in 10 is an original piece not from World 4.

@SatoshiMatrix1 World 4? ...What are you talking about?

@SatoshiMatrix1 I knew that. But going back to the topic at hand, The Gameboy Ballade theme is basically the bass of this song.

Beautiful. I could think of what it would be like if Videl fought Ballade. But, that's just me.

I think Ballade is a pretty cool guy. eh has the best Mega Man Killer Weapon ever and doesn't afraid of anything

@ZioIsPwnzor I'd say the screw crusher that you get in mm10 is better than ballades weapon

@crapheadandidiot Yeah! If you are too lazy to fight Sniper Joes, you can just stand with the mirror buster in front of it and do nothing X)

@TheJeppesk True. I always forget I have special weapons until I get to the boss, though. XD

@crapheadandidiot Haha X) I don't care what others say. I use special weapons to complete the stages if i want to.
