@attackof101 The idea is to WATCH the video, and try to understand what I'm doing. I'm taking for granted that the person watching is able to use his head for more than a hat rack. If I skipped something, it's because anyone can do it. Don't be so worthless, and actually try the steps before complaining.
ok please anwser my question is it better to learn all the algrothims for f2l(will it be a faster solve if i do this). And which is faster 2look oll or oll. same with 2look pll. please anwser. thanks
That's because I'm teaching it properly. If you were to learn the super easy poor-man's method, you would be stuck with slow times for the rest of your life. Learning it this way encourages faster times.
can u make a video that shows how to get the corners and the edges in 1 algorithm like ur talkin about at 1:50 or put up a link to a website that shows it
when i get to the part where im rotating the corners of the cube what should i do if one of the cublets is flipped.... or or or i have two that need to be swichted please help me.... very nice video by the way i didn't understand any other one. please help me.
Prime is a mathematical term. Any time you have a constant like A and then describing the same thing in different conditions you would call it A'. The proper way to say it would be "A prime". Of course, the apostrophe we use is actually supposed to be a small #1, but that's okay. Prime is one syllable. Inverted is two.
Rubik's brand is actually very, very good. The only brand that can be considered better is the DIY brands which you can get off sites like cube4you. I own a few of the DIYs, however, and they pop A LOT. I prefer Rubik's Brand.
Not that I know of. You might try putting like a sealant or glue or some kind of clear enamel on the stickers to help preserve them. Rubik's stickers usually arn't the greatest quality and will wear out whatever you do. I had a Rubik's 25th anniversary cube and the stickers stayed pretty nice for many months of rigerous speedcubing.(You can see how they are just starting the peel in the clip before the video, and that was after about 3 or 4 months). The 25th anniversary cube has best stickers.
HEY Do u have any idea how to Maintain or protect my Cube's sticker as well as possible... i mean the sticker sux man i tried nail polisher ..it doesnt seemed the best
Well, stickers wear out there isn't much you can do about it. New stickers are probably your best bet. I use the non-textured tiles from cubesmith(dot)com and they will never wear out because of the wicked quality.
If you don't feel like ordering online you can make your own stickers out of colored plastic from a craft store, and super glue them on to your cube. Just know that they are never going to come off...
hey, i was just wondering what you lubed your cube up with. i tried vegitable oil, that was okay, then i tried WD-40, that sucked... so i'm kinda out of ideas. if you could tell me that would be incredible!!!
I use "3-IN-ONE professional Silicone Lubricant". It's a common brand you could find at any hardware store. The most important thing about cube-lube is that it says both "silicone" and "safe on plastic" on the can.

*"how to properly lube & maintain" video coming soon. = )
Attention Viewers! My video expansion is complete. It covers the intermediate f2l! If you think you're ready for it, give it a look. Check my channel for details.
It kind of is opposite, like frehleymahem says, but since it's on the front for one, and on the side for the other.. when actually notated it looks alot different.
"oh. im not gonna show u that. or that. or that. and not that either. but ill show you what to do at the end for the final step."
yeah well how we gonna get to the end??

I think the beginner method for the F2L is easier, in my opinion.
Since i've been using pogobats method for the second layer for about a year now.

If your cube has one twisted corner, it's an impossible case. Take it apart and put it together solved.
LanceTheBlueKnight 3 years ago
very complicated, but cool!

when you say prime do you mean inverted?
guppo1 3 years ago
When they say 'inverted', they mean 'prime'.
They are the same thing. Prime is more correct.
LanceTheBlueKnight 3 years ago
ok thanks for the info

On step 2B) another formular to get the edge to the right side is, U,R,U',R',U',F',U,F Btw

what program do you use to edit your videos?

This video was done in Window's Movie Maker. Lately though, I've been using Sony Vegas Pro.

an easier algorithm for the "2b" step is
(right) Y' R U R U R U' R' U' R'
(left) Y' R' U' R' U' R' U R U
its easier and faster. (for me at least)
i might have gotten y' mixed up with y though
mumbojumbo94 3 years ago
Thanks for the advice. I think your notations are a bit off though, but I'll figure it out haha. I'm very fond of 2 gen, thanks for these algos!
LanceTheBlueKnight 3 years ago
what are the ys? I use f, r, l, u, d, and b. I also use reverseundo(its faster to say if you just call it un or undo), and inverted instead of prime.

for the algorithem u r u r' r' f' u' f is for when we rotate to the right, right?
wut is the algorithem when we rotate it to the left?
sunghoonk14 4 years ago
every thing opposite. u would be u' , r would be L, r' would be L'
frehleymayhem5 4 years ago
I'm assuming you're talking about the F2L.
To rotate to the left (from the side) it is:
U' F' U' F U R U R'
It kind of is opposite, like frehleymahem says, but since it's on the front for one, and on the side for the other.. when actually notated it looks alot different.

I thought you would Teach the Fredrich method?
BillyJSkateAway 4 years ago
This is the Fredrich method. I simplified the F2L, because beginners aren't ready for the intermediate F2L of the Fredrich method.
If you're ready for placing the corners and edges at the same time, there is an excellent video on that topic... I'll link it in the description.

Thanks.
