but as a text msg .. i havent tried it yet, but you can use ur own ringtone as txt ringtone..

when someone calls, the cell phone cover (where the light comes up) doesnt show the callers name, only their phone number, i know it sucks but if you flip your phone open you'll get to see their name..

well its not rly a basic talk/txt phone.. you can listen to music, go onto the internet, play games, listen to radio, it has a camera (no flash), video camera, voice recording and such.

mm no problem, lg lollipop is the newer version, its more expensive.. i rly like their new cover,and i think their screen is bigger?..but too bad i bought the lg icecream not long before the lollipop came out,o well i still love my icecream :D its lovely!

I live in Canada too, I use fido right now, but you can also use it in rogers, as long as they support gsm phones .. the only thing is that if you bought it from another country let say Korea Japan or China, you cant go onto the internet with it :( but besides that i love this phone!

and it comes with a usb, headphone, and charger, it doesnt come with a memory card, at least mine didnt... :)
