I bought a spped-t in 2008 and i broke nothing, the only thing i changed is i switch the locked differential for a ball differential cause i hate the feeling of the locked one.

I know i lost acceleration but for the handling, im sure its better than the rustler! the handling is just amazing now

@KpeepRc out of all the cars you named i would personally go for the e firestorm flux or the traxxas bandit vxl, I have a traxxas rustler vxl and running a 11.1 5000 3s and its great! i absolutely love it, But if you go for the traxxas bandit vxl you just need to loosen the slipper clutch because the front end will never come down with a lipo!

yeah i am thinking to buy a new truck (speed t / e-firestorm flux / rustler vxl) and for me they are almost the same, but in the speed t , to get realy fast you just need to buy a good lipo, ad in rustler you need a pinion too, the e-firestorm its cool too, i have earded that the speed t is wallways broking de diff so that make me think twice...... i think i will get the firestorm, if anyone want to help , say it, thx :D

get the rustler cause it is more beefy and all local hobby shops have the parts for it on the shelf and it somes with the pinion + the speed control has no motor limit. you have to order all parts for the firestorm and its not that fast the rustler will blow it out of the water i have a speed t and a rustler

Nice race, still doesnt prove much. Ive had alot of losi rcs mostly kits and recently got a mini slash vxl, and its incredibly durable and fun. Speed-t is IMO a better truck for people that have built kits and like nicer parts,  the rustler is fast and strong but wouldnt touch a losi on a course, speed isnt everything Ill take a little loss in speed for the other qualities.

I own both the Speed T and the VXL Rustler, I wounld have to say the Rustler is more durable for bashing but the Speed T is faster on the track and turns much better. Both of capable of going 70+mph depending on setup and type of battery used. I love both of them, they're both really nice trucks.

I think Traxxas, Kyosho, TA and Losi are GOOD RC manufacterers. Traxxas might be less experienced than most others, but their really coming along too! However if you want a REAL bashing car you should buildt it youself. Factories can only do so much and nothing more. You can do what the hell you want :)

ive been to a couple of tracks and i would say 1 or 2 out of 20 each time have a losi, other drivers are associated and traxxas, a few hpi. and a t maxx and lst2? please. the lst2 is bigger, but traxxas is much better quality. wait what was the number one racing engine of the year? the trx 2.5 and 3.3? never heard anything bout losi. what was the number one truck of the year twice, wait, A T MAXX??? hmm, dont think losi wastraxxas is better. and i have a losi aftershock, and it sucks dick.

well idk about a afterchock, but ik a guy who has taken his lst2 off a 30 ft jump, all stock, nada problems. take a t maxx off a jump higher than 10 ft there goes your bulkheads, an possible other stuff. t maxx is great for beginers and stuff but when you go real bashing go savage. and idk bout the trx engines i got to agree they are good engines.

idk, i tried to jump my t maxx over my house once, almost made it over, just skimmed the peak of the roof, and did maybe 20 flips and smacked 20-25 feet on pavement, only thing that cracked was the body, and at the time all i had custom were integy aluminum bumpers. man i dont mean to be a dick and argue, its all opinion and some fact, i mean i think t maxx is much better than a savage and lst2, both my friends have those, and i only drive traxxas now, they have been nothing but good to me.

It's a race through tech. losi has better radio gear and better parts.has alum shocks with no end caps = Very good and comes with alum braces rear/front. They also have full Graphic hopes ups for all XXX- (and speed-t/DT)

Traxxas may have better electronics for WP and car looks.but few of their parts still need work.such as their shocks and casterblocks. and they don't have well good plastic parts,as the Losi does. And Traxxas barely has much hop ups.only 3rd part hop ups are what really are -

I have both LOSI cars and traxxas cars. The Speed-T is ridden with insane differential problems, seems too much power for the diff.

What honestly makes the difference is what after-stock parts you put on it. So saying "losi sucks" or "traxxas sucks" or they both rock is stupid. Seeing as how both can be for the most part equally upgraded.

Traxxas has tons of shock cap probs also.

Losi has full Graphite upgrades from Losi.

Traxxas barely has much upgrades from Traxxas, so 3rd party hop ups are needed.

Traxxas still lacks a stock chassis upgrade, only one i seen is FLM 3rd part upgrade. but that needs modification to stuff on some ends. and still isn't even close to lookalike to stock.

So yeah if you want a pain in the neck look fine upgrades. Traxxas your game.

That's a child's comparision video. It would be better if the camera was at the other end. Second, 2WD going this fast is not optimal. I have a Speed-T, Stampede VXL and Mambified 6s E-Revo. Better control with 4WD. My Mambified RC18B handles better that the Speed-T. Until they come out with a BL LST/Aftershock stick with Traxxas. Better techsupport and willing to work with you. Losi will say anything to get you not to use warranty or repair.
