Thanks for posting this, I was curious about chorus generator sound and I found this video helpful. I read about the 2nd generator in the 'Beauty in the B' book years ago and it's hard to locate a concert series Hammond. I prefer the scanner vibrato sound myself but I think the 2nd generator has a very sweet sound. Looking through your other videos was this before or after you replaced the capacitors?
Alcuni esemplari del Model E furono prodotti in Italia dalla Microtecnica di Torino,su licenza Hammond, intorno agli anni '40(were built in Italy from Microtecnica,Turin,in '40's years...excuse my bad English...)
When I activate the chorus generator on my Hammond BCV, I don't notice as much difference as I do with the Hammond E or D's that I have. I assumed that it was because of the after market vibrato added to the BC was the reason but I see, or hear, that it is very noticeable on your EV. My BCV is connected to a Leslie 122 but I don't think that is the reason as I have had one of my model D's hooked to a 122 as well and the chorus generator is very noticeable.
That's great to hear the chorus generator. I have a BCV which has the chorus generator but it ended up gumming up so I disconnected the power to the chorus generator...I need to relubricate it to get it going again.
Does it actually celeste with all the pitches in the main generator or just some of them?
This is my first time hearing the E model.

How did you acquire this organ? Interesting that it must be very hard to find.

That organ is a thing of beauty. I hope you do vids while you do the restoration, as I'm curious in how they work!
