recently i've been really into vintage movie cameras, i'm still a noob, so could you please explain to be how these work. You would shoot, develop the film..right? but then how would you make it 'move' ? also where can you get the film for these cameras?

stanleys soho london will process 3x super 8 cartridges for £30, they can transfer one cartridge to minDV for around 12 quid but I reckon this is cool you're doing it yourself.

You can pay for a decent transfer-about £30 for 100ft, but to be honest I like the scratchy look of a home transfer-this was hand processed by the way-If yours was lab processed and you gave this a go-the results would be much clearer. Thanks again dude.

try using Adobe after Effects RGB curves to tone down some of the magenta mask if you want truer colors. but damn man you did great! i'd love to know what reels and tanks and processes you used to get this done all by yourself. Any advice would be welcomed. Again nice footage
