Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour Laser General Skirmish (1 of 2)

EA tech support is the suck, so I beg for help here please. My PC is WAY above recommended specs for this game and I have no probs with this game, with the maddening exception of when I am fighting the Laser general in challenge mode. After I build a good size army, my PC crashes and I get a "serious hardware error" message even though my diagnostics say my hardware is fine. Please any help would be appreciated. BTW i have no patches or anything installed...

6. Use aircraft bombers to destroy remote defenses and enemy supplies and back up your attack group. But mostly destroy their defenses so your attack group can walk right in.

7. Use general upgrades to destroy key enemy buildings or defenses.

8. Cut of their legs = supplies, dozers, cut of their head = command center, cut out the heart = their income, cut off their arms = their attack force, destroy their body = remaining buildings.

4. Further back of your defenses with laser average anti air vechiles. they zap incoming rockets from rocket buggies. 2 work best together to keep most rockets out.

5. When you create an attack force it should be large enough to break through anything:

- 8 laser tanks, 2 avengers with 2 snipers and to RPG guys in each. 2 anti attack vehicles to block rockets. 1 ambulance to heal all vehicles.

This will bust through nearly anything and keep the group in good conditions. 1-2 attack forces = WIN

Sorry to say you got owned for the following reasons:

1. Not enough funds coming in. You should have 2 supply bases with 2 chinooks on each. You should build at least 5 supply drops. This will give you plenty of cash throughout the game.

2. Laser turrets should be backed up by at least 5 RPG guys to get rid of large amounts of tanks coming.

3. You should build double the amount of power reactors to your actual needs. This will keep you alive during the worst attacks. Build them spread out.

Isn't there a patch that keeps the tanks working even if you are out of power?

Nice strategy you got there...If you had enough electricity/power, you'll be invincible. Those scorpion rockets are no match with your lasers. I'm not sure if the Avenger can shoot down small rockets...But look at the bright side...you won...Laser tanks are the best for that....We're in the same like----I always choose the laser general for everything....

@jovik15 Yes, the Avengers' laser defense can shoot down missiles/rockets with an exception from Nuke Missiles and SCUD Storm missiles.

i usualy use the Airforce General Laser general or Regular USA
