the rotator, is that originally a single phase? or did change the motor?
(Just got a thunderbolt 1000, trying to figure out the electronics)

this rotator motor is 240 volt Single Phase, it originally had a 440 volt 3 phase motor.
the one in there now will work on 115 or 240 volts

Did you have to make the motor? or did ypu get if from somewhere.
I cannot make motors, I bought the single phase rotator motor from Sirens for cities to replace the original 3 phase motor
I never realized how HUGE ThunderBolts are until I seen this video.. wow!

Yes they are huge but it's nothing when compared to T-135 "supersirens".

Once agian very nice. That pole were the horn sits on top of isent that were the chopper goes? Inside of it?

The top where you can see the two copper "rings" is where the chopper motor sits. The motor contacts ride the "rings".
The Chopper motor for this is broken. But once I get a newish one, it will drop right in place.
